Now for all ya true HiP HoPPaZ what I`ve got for y`all is apparently an advance copy of "Renincarnated"...at least that`s what the file name read, but it`s more than likely leaked promo for some work that MC Ren has done with his Rebel Army group. It`s just a guess though, after all John Doe & Bigg Rocc are featured on just about every track on the album. So I can`t really see this being a TRUE MC Ren album. None~the~less the music is DoPe, so check it out & enjoy...

TaiRRie B`s "The PoWeR Of A WoMaN"...

Ya gotta hand it to Eazy-E, regardless of what some folks say about him he was definitely business minded when it came to the Rap game. He didn`t just stick with the whole Gangsta Rap thing, he wanted to branch out & gain all different types of listeners. You could see examples of this when he helped executive produce such Ruthless Records acts as Jimmy Z (a Rock/ Funk musician), J.J. Fad, Steffon, Po` Broke & Lonely & the A.T.B.A.N Klann. Eazy even signed a White female rapper by the name of Tairrie B...

Tairrie`s from Cali` & she`s been all over the place when it comes to music, I`ll explain as we go along....LoL, she first started her career as a member of Bardeux, a female Dance group from the '80`s. She left the group in 1987 after they dropped their first single "Three-Time Lover". A few years later Eazy-E scooped her up & she signed with Ruthless Records to release her only Rap album, "The Power Of A Woman". Eazy-E, Schooly D & Tairrie B herself all had a hand in the production for the album. Everlast, Eazy-E, Dr. Dre, The D.O.C. & even Schooly D made guest appearances. As for Tairrie, she was far from the iLLeST on the mic when it came to lyrics & delivery, but overall I`ve heard worse -- the production helped a lot though...

After being released from Ruthless Records a few weeks before Eazy-E passed away she formed the Alternative Metal/ Rock band Manhole, which was later renamed to Tura Satana. After her work with Tura Satana she put together My Ruin, another Alternative Metal side~project & The LVRS (read about it HeRe), a Spoken Word side project...

So there ya have it, a lil` info` on the first White Woman rapper of Ruthless Records....LoL, if my mem`ry serves correct she`s also the only one. Anyway, I`ve added a 12 inch single along with the album in the DL link. So check it out, have a few laughs on me...

LaCeY SPyTFiYaH`s "MiND WHiSPeRs"...

I`m sure there`s some folks out there that have no idea who Lacey Spytfiyah is, honestly I had no clue until my homie hook`D me up with the mix~disc (can`t call it a mix~tape `cuz it`s a CD :)....LoL, anyway here`s a lil` background info` on Ms. Lacey Spytfiayh for those that care to know...

Lacey`s repp`N Dallas, Texas & has been rappin` since she was knee high to a grasshopper`s ****. Cochice The Wilderbeast was her first emcee moniker, she chose the name because it described the style of Rap that she was using at the time. She kept on her grind with the lyrics & eventually link`D up with a co~worker from her job at an insurance company. They formed the all female group Cagney & Lacey, obviously this is when she switched up her stage name to Lacey...LoL

"We had hard, grimey lyrics & pretty much male~bashed our way through tracks from beginning to end..."

That`s how Lacey described her group`s style on the mic. As time progressed the group split up, but Lacey still wanted to show the world that she could spit that fire. So that`s when she adopted her current alias, Lacey Spytfiyah & started rippin` the mic with her gutta~glam style of lyrics. She writes reality raps, real Life ish for the folks who may be experiencing it (what she`s speakin` on at the time). She also drops fun music, don`t get it twisted though she ain`t on that PoP shit! So check her out & enjoy...

ABoVe The LaW`s "DeaTH RoW EP"...

What`s poppin` y`all? Hopefully you`re enjoying the last days of the Summer. Here in the O~Double T (that`s Ottawa for y`all squares:) the Summer`s been pretty weak! I mean in July alone we probably only had about 5 or 6 days of actual sunshine/ good weather, but that`s another story....LoL, let`s get to the music now shall we???

What I`ve got for y`all today is more than likely just a bootleg, but when you`re a BiG Above The Law fan like myself who really gives a flyin` donkey fuck?.....LoL, anyway I`m not going to get too much into who Above The Law is (for the under~a~rock~dwellers that don`t know of ATL) because I`ll be postin` some of their albums a lil` later on. I will tell y`all that they are one of the most slept~on DoPeST West Coast HiP HoP groups out there!!!

Now a lil` bit about the tunes....from what I can gather these tracks are taken from Above The Law`s Death Row Records days. I believe they signed with them sometime in 1999 & ended up leaving the label around 2002, probably due to the fact that they weren`t seeing an album release date (like many other Death Row artists). Anyway what y`all have here is some good ol` G-Funk, definitely worth the DL especially since these joints are a lil` on the rare side, so enjoy...

BiG L DoCuMeNTaRy "STReeT STRuCK" To Be ReaLeaSeD...

Some DoPe news for y`all Big L fans out there....the criminally slept on emcee from Harlem is finally going to have his Life`s story told to the world thru a Dangerzone Films documentary titled "Street Struck: The Big L Story". There isn`t a release date that`s set in stone yet, but y`all should expect to see it drop sometime this February. The documentary chronicles Big L`s career from the early stages noting his work with Children Of Da Corn (Cam`Ron, Ma$e, McGruff & Bloodshed) to his time with the Diggin` In The Crates crew...

Some of the documentary`s features include rare photos & stories told by various friends, family members & other fellow rappers that have worked with Big L -- DJ Premier, Showbiz, Mysonne & Cipha Sounds to name a few. You`ll also get to see some really rare footage of Big Pun & Big L performing on stage together, definitely worth checkin`! This comin` February will make it 11 years since Big L was taken away from his family & friends, this world & HiP HoP. Let`s keep his name alive & bright so maybe someday, just maybe the police or someone will get some leads on L`s still unsolved murder for way back in 1999. Wishful thinkin` I know, but ya gotta hope...
