Terrence Thompson and his brother Stacey were very good kids. Their father, Trevor, introduced me to some very good music when I was a teenager and I am grateful for this. He was very much into the new soul and r and b at the time and had a great ear for innovative hits and sounds. I am still searching out some of the music he gave me on cassette back then. Terrence gave me a CD in 97 and it contained some incredible work from Brass Tacks. Its title was Rush of the Planets and had 6 or seven great tracks. I could tell then that Terrence was all grown up as I had not seen him in awhile. Look for it. Some is up on youtube. The lyrics alone are smart and relevant and even prophetic today but don't take my word for it. Find it. I just wonder if they are still making good music today, even individually.
Much love for Brass Tacks,
PatrickAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
